These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website, including any orders that you place. Please read these terms carefully before using this website. Using this website or ordering any item from this website by any means,indicates that you fully accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to accept them by "agreeing" via the website shopping cart or placing the order via the telephone. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Placing an Order
When you place an order through the website, we will send an e-mail to confirm that we have received the order.
All orders are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd cannot accept an order from customers until payment is received in full for all products and any related delivery charges.
Orders placed through the website represent an offer to purchase a product. It is accepted for each product when we send you an e-mail to confirm that the order has been received.
We reserve the right to reject any order for any reason.
All orders are subject to stock availability. If we are unable to supply any products that you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that an out-of-stock product is part of an order and we cannot contact you, we will send what products we have in stock, refunding the purchase price of any unavailable product where payment has already been made.
Please note that part roll/sq.m orders of carpet underlay may at times have to be supplied in more than one piece but at a maximum of two pieces.
Delivery
All orders of £350.00 excluding vat and over are delivered free of charge (excluding certain postcodes and premium services for products where such charges are specifically stated).
Orders under £350.00 excluding vat will have delivery charges as set out on our delivery information page.
Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd can only deliver to mainland UK (Great Britain) addresses.
Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd does not offer delivery to remote or off-shore locations, including but not limited to the Inner and Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland, Isle of Man. Please refer to our Delivery page for full details.
All orders will be delivered to a single address.
Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd and the couriers will endeavour to deliver your goods on the estimated delivery day or within a reasonable time thereafter,but does not guarantee the date and time for delivery and shall not be liable to the Customer for any losses or claims of any kind whatsoever in respect of the delay.
All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18.
If no one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the delivery address to rearrange the delivery.
Should no-one contact the carriers within 3 working days the items may be returned to us and we would refund the order value less the delivery and return carriage costs.
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter premises and some larger orders maybe to the kerbside only.
The recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made.
For deliveries to flats,the delivery will be to the main ground floor door.
You agree to check your order in full prior to arranging the fitting or use.
Pricing
The prices displayed on the mrcarpetunderlay.co.uk website are largely the same as the in-store prices, however we may offer different prices for products purchased from the website. These prices may be higher or lower than in our stores.
All prices including delivery charges are exclusive of Vat @ 20%
Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd VAT registration number is 829 7463 84.
Our site contains a large number of products, and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will at our discretion either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject our order and notify you of such rejection.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Cancellations
You may cancel orders at any time before they are dispatched to you.

Returns and Refunds
If you want to return a product for any reason, we promise to give you a refund, excluding any delivery and return charges, within 7 days of the date it is delivered to you.
In the unlikely event that a product is faulty or it has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund excluding "No signature required" or "Left as instructed" delivered items.Notification of any defect must be made within 48 hours of the product being delivered to you. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange but should a damaged in transit or known faulty product be used,we will not accept any liability for its performance or consider any claim.
Unused and over ordered products can be returned to us at

with proof of purchase for a refund less a 20% handling charge less any delivery or collection charges.
Unfortunatley due to our low trade prices we are unable to offer any free returns.

You can obviously return the goods via any carrier service should this be more convenient to you.
We require the return of the products within 7 days of the request being made.
Certain products offered on the website have specific, stated delivery times which supersede the standard next-day delivery proposal (please see individual product details on the website).
Referred to as 'special order', 'extended lead time' or 'supplier-delivered' products, these items can be shipped directly from Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd' suppliers. In the unlikely event that a special order product is faulty, the item can be returned to us, with proof of purchase, for a full refund (including delivery charge). Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged through our nominated carrier, where the cost of the return will be at our expense. Should a special order product need to be returned for any other reason,you must return the item to us, with proof of purchase, for a full refund (excluding delivery charge).
Please note that made-to-measure items may not be returned unless they are faulty.
All refunds will be made within 14 days of notification to the account originally used to purchase the product.
